Sprung Hockey

I've wanted to try these frames for a while now, as they are pretty much the only ones that I haven't tried as of yet! From all the positive reviews on here, it seems like a very good frame, only problem it seems is actually being able to buy one!

Kinda seems like Sprungster really can't be bothered to get the ball rolling on actually producing and selling these things, let alone responding to people's questions. When these things are actually available to be purchased can someone let me know? I'd gladly plunk down the cash for them but there is no way I'm giving somebody money for a product that I won't actually see for at least a year!

I'm in exactly the same boat - desperate for a pair yet no official word and there is not a chance in hell I am paying for something thats either not physically available now or I have to wait 6 months+ on.

As soon as I know that when I order the chassis will arrive a week or two later then I'll buy a couple of sets.

I can do the axle and nut. I thought I'd sent out all the parts orders and requests. Sorry, Fatwabbit, how many OG arms and what color or colors?

I know that there are a lot of grumpy pre-orders out there because I've talked to many, on the phone. I apologize for putting you all into a situation where you noticibly age while waiting for your pre-orders to actually show up at your door. It was looking weird going in, and I should not have started the order.

Sprung is just like you, doing it out of your house while raising kids and, as you can imagine, things can get tight/tighter/tightest. My daughter, who is Thing2 at Sprung, and I have been working on a new presentation which we hope will shake some OEM deals and wholesale orders out of the bush.

I can be reached for parts and gripes at sprungster9@gmail.com

Though you haven't had many choices besides patience, I thank you for it anyway, and for your order, and I hope to fill it soon.

"Hey Keith, hows business?"

The above quote is a Facebook message I received soon after I posted my update (top quote), on MSH. It's from a guy who has never liked the idea of Sprungs and was yelling the same at me, again, the last time I saw him, which was at a tournament. He does not like me. He is also the owner of a famous icon roller hockey equipment company and part of roller hocky's OG inside circle.

And on a more positive note, I also got the following message yesterday. It's from a gent who is pretty much a roller icon, himself.

"Hey bro, just wanted to get back to you...first impression...wow! The push is crazy...its like getting a double pump on every stride. It is really noticeable doing one leg pumps...I skated in them for about 25 min and then put on my ---’s and the difference was really noticeable...I am looking forward to doing some more testing and comparisons...just wanted you to know I am digging them so far!!"

No need for sh$t like that from adults, and we wonder why some kids act the way they do!

HOWEVER, Being a "roller hockey icon" is like being a midget and winning the tallest midget contest, you may be #1 but your still a midget!!...

Keith..Keep your head up and your hands moving, you have alot of sprung believers out there and the idea will click one of these days.

I believe the idea, concept and execution has been widely accepted, but obviously it doesnt have the impact that justifies the full scale production.

Am praying that we hear good news soon, and that sprungs will be WIDELY available.

You're also losing customers by not being available and not providing the service usual retailers are giving, and you're about to lose me as well...

I am the king of unusual-retailerlandia, and I am sold out and way backordered. Being a retailer does not fall into any of the things I excell at, or do well at, or have any desire whatsoever of doing at all. But I have a good rep RE being available and providing quick service. Since 99% of the Sprungs out there were/are assembled and kept up out of my house, I have everybody's name and they have mine. I do accidentally bumkick an order once in a while.

If I don't fix it all, quickly, I loose all my new customers, but I have plenty of spare parts to get my current customers through untill the new and better Sprungs are available at ususl retailers. Hopefully, they'll also be available on boots, then I don't need to do the retail thing anymore.

I'll return your deposit on the 23rd.

No doubt Sprungster your customer service is top notch! I applaud anyone who gets off their ass with an idea, makes it a reality, and makes a little money off of it! What I am told is suppose to be The American Spirit or Way...Like I said before, keep up the good work and effort and it will all work itself out...Good Luck

Keith, I sure hope things will pan out for Sprung frames because I can't imagine going back to rigid frames.

I'm still dreaming about your Sniper model for my Flexlites.drool.gif

The A8s are too big for 9.5s. I wish I had another room, I hadn't checked in, full of A7s.

I finally cleaned out my storage and found 5 pair of killer poppy red A6s and 2 pair of white A6s. I found a crate of A8 bodies and checked each one to see if any A7 bodies got in there, but noooo. A6 arms are becoming finite. PM me if you want to know what's still in stock. This is just like being sold out and backordered.

Keith, what Sprungs would fit a Mission 9500 boot, size 8?

Size 8 uses A6s. My PM board is almost always full, so if you can't get through, email me. sprungster9@gmail
