CAPS Practice Pictures

Hello everyone,

I have been lurking here for quite a while. Just wanted to chime in with a few pictures but I don't know how to post?. I went to opening day of CAPS training camp in Ashburn yesterday. It was a great time. I've been to tons of practices at the old place (Piney Orchard). Anywho, I took a ton of pics, so just reply with any requests and I'll see if I have anything you guys want to see. I'm going back tomorrow or next week, so let me know if there are any specific requests. Also, this was my first time using my fiancee's new camera so the quality isn't great, but I started to get the hang of it towards the end.

BTW- Ovechkin is a cool guy. He signed 3 items for my nephew, sister, and myself. He actually thanked us for asking for his auto!!! Great kid!!!

Okay, I got the first 3 pics up. In the last one, he is holding an Easton because Eminger (I think) dropped his stick and Ovy gave his Vector to him during the drill.

I'm not as up on equipment as most of you all, but yeah I was surprised by the 8K helmet and the Itech visor. I guess his gloves are the Vector Pro? Looked like them to me. His skates were VERY cool. Very metallic looking.

The team was doing some skating drills and Ovechkin was going backwards almost as fast as the other guys in his group were going forward. It was cool to see.

Roach,

Ovechkin gave his Vector stick to Steve Eminger during a scrimmage drill because Eminger dropped his stick. Ovie goes all out all the time, even in the scrimmage drills. It is great to see a star work as hard as he does.

it probally saves his team some cash if he uses the extras of the old v130's during camp and practices if they are essentially the same as the V10.0 which CCM obviously wants in ovechkin's hands during games.

CCM-RBK not much difference I wouldn't have thought.

of course they are owned by the same company BUT they are still two different things(which might matter depending on what exactly he does for the company). I'm pretty sure he stated that he worked for CCM specifically... not that it matters.
