Maybe it is like the Bauer one90, a power stick.

The ONE90 is lighter than a SL.

by how much?

12.5 pounds

Well my coach showed up to practice today with a sickick, so he let me try it out.

Damn, it was pretty sick, weight felt somewhat similar to my ST. It was balanced differently though and seemed to be slightly heavier around the kick area. This didn't seem to affect puck control though as the stick seemed to have more of a feel to it then the 7k does.

Shooting with the 7V was really nice, accuracy was bang on and the kick had a really nice snap to it. There was no awkward connections with the puck, everything felt really smooth.

He said he got the stick from his roomate, and was kinda shocked when i told him they weren't even released yet. I wanted him to try and hook me up.

on a side note, the the stick was labeled C for contoured shaft and had grip, so i'm assuming there will be 4 versions? (traditional and contoured, in both grip and non grip?) The pattern was an SK-11, looked and played like a sakic.

isnt the sickick the exact same as the 7k now with new graphics?

Nope, different blade and I think the shaft taper is alittle different, not sure on that one though.

$150 + shipping : Retail is supposed to be $199

Probably the most I have paid for a single stick in 3 years, hopefully its worth it.

I was reading an article about a Ducks preseason game and it said something to the effect Pronger blew up three of those sticks in one period. Now hes back to Warrior. Maybe just a bad batch.
