The stick is pretty tight, but the skates don't look all that special to me

I like them but of course I think Easton skates are pretty decent. My 1300's are awesome for fit and lightness. These look pretty decent to me and if their lighter than my 1300's they will be incredible on the ice.

Noticed Heatley has Lightspeeds on his Eastons.

Wasn't it said on these forums that mounting a non-Easton brand holder on an Easton boot is no good? Something about the way the boot is constructed.

The only thing no good about using a lightspeed holder is have an easton boot attached. just isn't right.

wow, no wonder that sounded funny when i read it over.

what i meant to say was the only thing not good about using a lightspeed holder is having and easton boot attached, but i think you got my point. funny how we haven't seen a pair yet with an lps2 on it, or wutever easton has attached to their boots. unless perhaps a stealth runner is in the works?

Actually I know that a year ago they were testing out a different holder. I know someone at Easton's home rink.

nah the ls2's have ls2 steel and the ls2p's have ls2p steel
