2007 All Star Game Jerseys

Found this on a distributors website. They just said on TSN that next year no team whatsoever will have 3rd jerseys. Only an away and home jersey and they apparently will go thru with the slimfit Reebok jersey contrary to what I thought that the GM's had voted them down.

They also showed a bit of the Preds players wearing the slimfit jerseys at today's practice, they looked less tight fit then the Nike Olympic ones.

That is the style of jersey the Sabres are wearing this year.

I have to find some old mid 80s OHL pix when all the OHL teams wore longer Cooperall pants with Cooper jerseys that this year's Sabres jerseys are direct decendents of. Yvan12 may remember those jerseys. They had the side stripe going down underneath the armpit, same as Buffalo. They also featued a tapered fit. I have a North Bay Centennials Cooperall jersey. I tried to wear it last week during my game but the jersey had no room underneath my arms for the shoulder pads. I couldn't get comfortable at all and changed it before leaving the locker room. The Sabres look is a carbon copy.

Haha, no sounds like I'm a homer but the CBus ones are probably one of the few I like. They need to make it their permanent home jersey. But for example, the Nashville mustard yellow make me wanna puke...and why does Boston have like Smokey the Bear on the front of their thirds?!

Ya i saw that too, except they said that those pants were not going to be used. Somethin about how the players and managers had given input on the designs, and they decided to not make the jerseys overly tight fitting, and scrapped the pants idea.
