Well, it's that time of year again, Christmas, Hanukkah's etc.. I didn't see any thread started yet, so i'll start it up.

What is everybody buying for there wifes, kids, relatives, husbands, girlfriends etc..

What is on everybody's lists?

I can't wait to play Santa with an air hockey table I bought at half-off at Sam's Club the day after Christmas last year. Of course, I have NO idea whether this is actually going to fit! It seems like it will, but I might not be considering the elbow room.

I also bought a telescope the same way. Other than that, DVD's, clothes and toys for the girls, a lump of coal to my wife for not letting my buy a widescreen TV at a huge discount the day after Thanksgiving. She has no sense of priorities....

Lets see, i have bought the girlfriend some diamond earrings, john mayer tickets, and a desk sized space heater. Bought my parents a new digital camera. My brothers will prolly just get video games or something, i havnt bought their stuff yet.

A new Sabres jersey, a few sticks, Xbox 360 HD-DVD player, and a new watch among other various things are on my list.

New tradition this year... we're all going to my sister's country house for Christmas because Mum had to move off the farm into an assisted care place. It is going to be weird not being at the family farm this year. Worse when we sell it to developers next year (heart pang big time).

So... Bought my mum some incredible sweaters - these are so cool the other old ladies will be jealous!

My sibs have everything, so they are really hard to buy for....

My sis and her husband... some interesting wine. Especially if I can find a vintage that they are not likely to have tried before. Any suggestions out there? Has to be VERY good.

My bro'... books - haven't got them yet, so if I can't find some esoteric leadership book or cd he hasn't read yet I'll probably supplement it with wine or Jack.

My nephew... cash, exactly what every guy in university needs.

Miss D will make her usual chocolate and cookies and give everyone a tin... always a hit! And especially nice now that she is old enough to do it by herself. (I still help a bit cuz it is a fun ritual)

Can't say what I've got for Miss D because she lurks sometimes... but I am really excited about it this year.

Got my girfriend a picture frame and a movie. I dropped a shit ton of money on her for our anniversary (expensive dinner + play + night at expensive hotel + diamond necklace = $$$$) so I didn't feel the need to buy her much!

I got the wife a recliner a couple weeks ago and already gave it to her, just some filler for her on x-mas. I ended up picking up a bunch of jackets for the male members of the family at the PGA shop in the Pittsburgh airport. Retail was $95 but with sales and my discount I got them for $20 or so. Got my grandpa some cigars and booze, just like every year.

I got my mom a night gown (nighty).

I got my dad his Ipod that got stolen from me at school, and I put all the songs that he wanted on it before it got stolen.

I got my girlfriend a charm bracellete (sp?) with her name and a heart on it.

EDIT:(We broke up Christmas eve...I'm probably still going to give it too her, but w/e)

I basically just wanted some USA Vapor XXX Gloves or Team canada vapor XXX gloves, or if neither of those, then navy. Other then that i just needed some clothes; zip up hoodies/hoodies, t-shirts, jeans, long sleeves...etc.

Lots of DVD's, games, books, computor things and alot of random stuff I thought they might like.

I also promised I would fit a bunch of radiators in my girlfriends parents house for them for christmas and now looking at their heating system it looks like I may have to put some serious paper into it :(

Mom: Religious books - and gift certificate to her favorite book store.

Brother: A shit-load of bicycle tire tubes (he does freestyle BMX), games, DVDs.

Girlfriend: Diamond necklace, Ezra Fitch jeans (which I don't get a discount on), A&F 'Nadia' jacket (which I did get a discount on), and I laminated the ticket stubs from the Brand New/Dashboard Confessional concert I took her to and burned each band's set-list onto a CD (it was her first concert - yeah, she's 18, lol - and she had a great time, so I want to give her little mementos).

Girlfriend's Older Brother: Buffalo Sabres picture book (actually pretty sweet - some nice looks at the Stealth skates and SyNergy SE), an A&F hoodie (halfsies with girlfriend).

Girlfriend's Younger Older Brother: Brand New hoodie, new Brand New CD, lottery tickets (halfsies with girlfriend).

Girlfriend's Father: Surround sound speakers for new basement entertainment center (halfsies w/ girlfriend).

Girlfriend's Mother: One of those lightning rods found on barns (halfsies with girlfriend). Them shits is expensive.

We obviously don't go big $$ for presents. It's much more about getting together with family and friends now.

Everything I want costs way more than I would ever ask anyone to pay for, so I just ask for cash or gift cards, then go buy the stuff myself.

Mom- my sister and I always go in on her together. She picked her up some make up, perfume, and clothes she wanted. I got her a bluetooth headset for her cell so now she can be like all the football players at my school.

Stepdad- Bluetooth XBOX 360 headset. Its a very bluetooth Christmas at the Kosydar's.

Sister- some bullshit Burbury perfume that killed me to buy, plus I made her the best CD ever.

Secret Santa- because theres 7 guys that live in my house we just did secret santa. I got my buddy a month subscription to a pornsite, just haven't figured out which one yet. The best part about it is that my secret santa bought me a clothes hamper and Milo and Otis on DVD. What an asshole.
