ccm catapult stick sighting

great looking stick.great improvement over previous CCM's. also, i like the color differences for the patterns. not because you can 'tell them apart' neccesarily, but rather, i like the different colors so not everyone has the same look

289.99 is rediculous why is this stick better than other OPS's that makes it worth another $90

No kidding...especially after seeing Ovechkin break about two a period during testing...not that most of us have that kind of strength, but still seems like their "flex" technology seems to respond more like "snap" technology.

BTW - Did you see the glove selection at Rousseau? Best selection of Mia gloves I have seen yet.

Like JR said, the prices are not changing, so don't associate the CDN price with the US convertion. For the OV episode well, it was his first prototypes so you can bet the problem will be resolved.

I was lucky, I got mine on wednesday, by yesterday sold quite a few just before the xmas frenzy ended. A lot of people picked them up and seemed to like the feel. I can't tell the difference myself between them and the old 10.0, but hey, they are colored different so why not. :-)

No, and it would be hilarious if you were to order from a Canadian site if you live in the US. Those days are long gone.

I would never order from a Canadian site. And I was just saying, in simpiliar terms, if you look at a Candian site, you assume that you just currecy ex-change the price, and that's how much it will be in America.

There are probably 2 useful things an American can pick up from looking at a Canadian site. (all just educated guesses from an average Joe consumer)

1) Approximate value, in relation to similar sticks from the same manufacturer. They've got it listed for the same price as the 2006 V10.0, so it'll probably be the same price as the V10.0 and V130, when they first came out. Sickick for the same as a 6K, less than a 7K. (unless they're gouging, of course)

2) Since they're actually advertising the price, it's either at MSRP or higher than that. (I'm still not quite sure how that works, in relation to older models - perhaps after the product's life cycle is up, they can advertise for lower than MSRP)

Colors correspond to the team color of the endorser

The colour must be off in that picture as the Doan stick looks orange on my monitor instead of harvard.

My LHS got these and the Sickick in yesterday. Wasn't impressed with the Catapult, Felt ok...but didn't feel nearly as good the competiting sticks in the same price range.. The Sickick had a pretty decent feel, The balance feels off to me though. Kind of bottom heavy
