TheSnake22 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2007 ya, along with every player who wears one in the nhl since the rules say they have to be only one color. what i was saying is that you wouldn't call the inside shell "interchangeable" in the sense that you can't go to your store and buy like a red shell, blue shell or green shell and switch them on a whim... you can only buy the helmet and if you want to change the color, you have to take off the outside shell and spray paint it the color you want... or buy a bunch of helmets i guess...to add to that, you have to buy a min of 12 helmets for the custom program... whole teams would really be the only way to do it... There are a lot of "extras" that companies offer for team purchase only that don't make it to the retail level. ie..gold Notre Dame hockey helmets, Adidas hockey socks, yellow Synergy ST's.
