And, if you could twist it into some kind of underground marketing campaign, make the no graphics version available.I'd like to do that, but the problem is we don't have a household name like the big guys. We need as much exposure as we can get. It is helpful to have the Christian name on our sticks for branding purposes.Another option we have been toying with is making an "old school" looking Northland one-piece composite.It would be great for a value price OPS in a lot of the traditional hockey markets. DamnLocust 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2007 I heard somewhere that christian doesn't have the rights to the Northland name in the states, and that's why they aren't selling the northland woodies outside of canada. Considering our pattern offerings (#1-Forsberg, #3-Drury, #4-Recchi, #5-Iginla, #7-Lidstrom), which patterns would people most like to see if we could only pick two?As much as I am a fan of the Iginla pattern from Easton, I think you'd have the most success with the #1 and #3. kornsined 0 Report post Posted March 4, 2007 I'd say Drury and Modano. I've seen lots of Drury's quickly get scooped up in the LHS. Grip is a must and flexes ranging from 85-110. shawn o 0 Report post Posted March 4, 2007 I love Christian sticks...have ever since I was a kid.And when I started playing again after being off for several years I went right back to them with a Torch shaft at 1st and now their OPS.For some reason I found a few shops in town selling the one piece Torch sticks for only $85...is that the right price now?I think I paid more for that for my Lite shaft about 6 months ago!Anyways, I love the Pattern 5.... Some of the sticks I sold two years ago are still in use.worst durability. we had the christian deal last year, i broke 3 one pieces in one prac (torch). The shafts would crack easily too. The wood blades, besides being as think as a brick, they are pretty durable.
