Anyone else use this stick?

Recommended Posts

Ok, so i bought myself a 'lil gift today in the form of a $75 Nike Apollo senior OPS, Gagne curve, 102 flex. Hoping someone might give me a 'lil insight on how they like it even though i am gonna try it in a few days....i am curious after reading the 3 stick reviews on it and am wondering what others thought about it?

From a pure feel standpoint, the stick fits my hand perfectly, especially with the wheelbarrow handle. Performance is quite good, however compared to todays technology, it falls a step short. However, I believe that the durability and performance are better than the closeout price suggests.

lets remember the new one is a lower end stick, and the older white one was a higher end stick.

what does the new one look like ? The only Nike Apollo I remember seeing was a white one with orange lettering or trim (something along those lines).

I have one tucked away. I liked the feel, but couldn't use it because I had the wrong curve.

it's a SMU for hockeygiant, it's been argued that it's likely just a repainted one50. I honestly don't know what it is, but it's probably not worth the money.

I had the creamsicle Apollo 2-piece, with that PH2/P02 pattern. I'll love that one forever. Nicely balanced, good puck feel, decent weight, cheap...everything you want in a hockey stick.
