Ultimate Ice to Roller Conversion Setup

Recommended Posts

I spend the majority of my down time just daydreaming about what sort of skate I could assemble if I had a million dollars... Well, maybe not a million dollars, but if you could create the ultimate inline skate, not taking into account a budget or anything, what would it be? I'll start:

Boot: Easton S15 Stealth

Frame: Mission Team Carbon Generator

Wheels: Hyper Zero G Wheels (688 core)

Bearings: Ninja Mini Misers

Customizations: Pink laces; Superfeet footbeds; lacelock off third eyelet

Boot: KOR Shift 1 (I know it's not practical on the current models and don't know if it's even possible, but one can dream...maybe with the new model)

Chassis: Sprung

Wheels: Rink Rat Hornets

Bearings: Ceramic

Laces: Black waxed laces

Boot: A new updated version of the old Nike Air skate made with modern materials but with the original look in the black and copper color combo. Those looked sweet back in the early 90's.........

Chassis: Sprung or possibly a Mission Vanguard in black.

Wheels: Rink Rat Hornets in the old Nike Air copper color.

Bearings: Bones Swiss.

That will supposedly be possible on the shift 2 but is not on the shift 1. I looked into it a while ago.

My choice for a dream skate:

Bauer one90

Labeda Cat-eye or ProSet

Revision Platinum Wheel

Swiss Bearings

Hey Fury of One we have similar taste in skates.......

CCM 655 Tacks w/Sherwood E-Frames and Hyper wheels. I am considering the yellow Labeda Grippers for indoor this winter.

Those are nasty looking, the color match with the chassis is perfect. Is the paint goign to chip off with play though?
