I just bought a pair last night before practice and I didn't notice any difference from my Eagle X70's (other than the $50 price difference). And I love my Eagles.

In my opinion 4 roll gloves allow better wrist and overall movement. That is ofcourse if you buy the right pair of 4 roll gloves.. Right now Bauer has a pretty good pair but in too me nothing can beat a pair of pro CCM cloth 4 roll gloves. Once they break in the are the softest most comfortable glove. Eagles not a bad glove but if your spending that much money why not just go with the MIA gloves. While extremely pricey nothing can compete with those gloves.

Try the NBH 4-roll on and see how you like it. A testament to the glove's quality is the number of NHLer's wearing the NBH 4-roll and its predecessor the Bauer 5000/BDP/SDP.

This has been covered before...MIA ripped Eagle off, it's essentially the same glove and arguably less durable. Both Eagle and MIA are nothing special.

They are making a better product then eagle and in less time (for the custom order anyway) For someone who had both eagles and mia.MIA are better in every shape and form.

Has far as the 4 rolls i got 2 guys who has them in my team and they both said that for the price they are its best glove they ever had.I will buy a pair too but i am waiting for the EWH edition (they will be white). So just try them on and see how you like it.

i'd try it on before buying online. i personally don't think they're that great, as they don't fit me comfortably. find the glove that fits you the best, and not base it on however many NHLers wear it.

it's a great glove and to make it better they added 4 vents on the top of the backhand.

at the end of every game my hands a moist at best but in my vapor xxx's they were soaking wet at the end of a game.

how can they rip eagle off when the glove designers for MIA made eagle what it is today?

The 4-rolls have a VERY loose fit. It's a very boxy glove. I had a pair of 5000's forever, and while comfortable and quite durable, were just too big. You may want to check out the R8 lites form TPS. Great glove around the same price range.

they are very nice and they also have a few nice pro stocks on eastwesthockey.com, if you are going to buy a pair

The 4-roll doesn't feel that loose(SDP/5000) because of the dri-fit padding on the backside of the hand and fingers. Still very bulky though, to each their own.

If you like extremely loose gloves than you'll love the 4-rolls. IMO the 4-rolls are just too loose. Even though I am coming from eagles, I couldn't stand the 4-rolls, so I opted for the TPS R8 lites (my lhs should have mine in anyday now...).

I find them loose in the cuff...but tight in the fingers...due to the extra padding in the fingers. I have two pair and exclusively wear only these gloves now. They are very comfortable and protective.

I have a definite preferance for the anotomically shaped gloves. Just like the way they wrap around the hands. Never really found the four roll glove suited me. Find it bulker than an anotomically shaped glove. Another personal preferance issue.

I agree with MLSman. I feel the 4-Rolls are tight in the fingers, but loose in the cuff which I really like. Overall, coming from Nylon He750's, I love these gloves and wouldn't be hesitant to get another pair.

Tried on a pair of 4 Rolls at my LHS and they're pretty much what you'd expect from a pro quality glove as far as comfort, weight, and protection.

I found them online (icewarehouse.com) for $90 and free shipping so I opted to go that route.

I'd suggest trying these on in store if possible. I've usually been a 15" glove length man, but I found the 14" 4 Rolls were a bit more to my liking.

yeah, i've been in a 14 inch xv, eagle x6 and mission he 550, and i got 14 inch 4 rolls that are deffinitely a lot longer than any of the aforementioned.

How do you like the 4 Rolls out of all the gloves you own?
