is it better than the synergy se or the cnt....

Top of the line sticks usually aren't better than their predecessors or sticks in a tier lower than them.

In short, the S17 will not perform better than the Stealth CNT, which was a downgrade to the original Stealth. The Synergy Elite is actually quite a bit better, even though the Synergy 300 eclipses the whole line. The new S6C (or whatever it's called) is a downspec'd 300.

The CNT's are a downgrade from the original Stealth?

Oh golly. I thought I was being fairly clear.

The guy asked if Easton's new top-of-the-line flagship ultra supreme mega Stealth is better than the SE or CNT. If the answer wasn't obvious before, I hoped telling him the Synergy 300 was the best would be an indication of my sarcasm and bait for his intelligence.

My bad, just read it quickly and didn't notice the rest.

Actually, i felt the CNT's were a downgrade (wait before you flame):

The stealth was a performance stick and that is what the original did, it performed. No one liked the fact that it broke, so they compromised performance by making it durable and releasing the cnt, which, don't get me wrong, was a good stick, but i believe performance wise, the original stealth is still the best.

No offense, but did you really pay $285 + shipping for a stick that is coming out in the middle of next month for like $210? I'm gonna guess you really liked the curve.

Yes I have, but it's coming out next month. I'm just curious if there was another reason other than having it a little bit earlier. I guess if you've got the money then why not!

Don't worry, you're not alone. I passed on buying a whole load of original stealths at really low prices because I expected the CNT to be stronger with still the great performance. I gave the CNT a month and hated it with a passion. I've never disliked a stick more then that one. Thats just ones mans opinion though, its always personal preference

i've always loved being the first one with a stick, and its not like he's paying 285 for like a RBK 4k (just an example)...it is a nice stick IMO, maybe it's perfect, and personally i would never pay over 250 for a stick, but I dont work for a living, if hes got they money, he should go for it

and BTW nice stick

OMG AUTOGRAPH PLEASE

lmao love the sarchasm

No, I didn't pay $285, there were two of these sticks on ebay, I got the first one for $200, cheaper than what they're going to retail for when they come out. And, yes I did love the curve, flex was just a bit stiff for my liking.

theres some guy on ebay selling red wings pro stock sticks. clearys s17 was there, some SEs as well

He's got them marked up quite a bit too. The exact stick I saw in Hockeytown Auth. for $50 was $150 BIN on ebay. Markov's Polarfibre Dolomite shaft + blade. Damn I regret not buying that, I went back the next day after sleeping on it and it was gone.

Oh, ok that's a good deal then. Sorry, I just didn't catch that first one on ebay in time I guess.

Although I am a defence man and like a heavier stick..I can not resist.

I'll definitely be buying this early-mid december.

Do you just want to wait until all the bugs are fixed from the first batch if there are any?

This might be a dumb question, but what is the deal when you pre-order a stick like the S17 from an online store? Do they ship the stick to you as soon as they recieve it, or do they wait until the release date, which I think it was said is the 16th, and then ship it out meaning you get the stick on the 19th to the 21st?
