Konig von Kuhlem 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 Does anyone have experience with this sock?Ultimate Skating Socks at EPuckAre they as good as the reviews at Epuck say they are? How do they prevent blisters?
Patrick67 1 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 Awesome socks, pretty similar to runningshoe socks in thickness. Actually very similar to runningshoe socks in most aspects...

Law Goalie 147 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 I'm a big fan of the Wigwam Ultimax liner socks. They're keeping my ancient all-leather skates nearly dry after two-hour sessions. There's also the Wigwam Gobi liner, which is even thinner, but not as comfortable or as efficient at wicking sweat up off the foot to the calf.
jro2711 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 i have like three pairs and i dont think there anything amazing, there not bad

blues_91 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2007 I've just been using Peds from Zellers...6 pairs for $8. At that price they're almost disposable.

qmechanic 17 Report post Posted September 5, 2007 I used to use track hose as socks and I would get horrible blisters if I skated multiple days in a row. Now that I switched to the "Ultimate Skating Sock" (Wigwam), I don't get blisters as quickly. They're nice socks, not too thick which I like.
TBLfan 25 Report post Posted September 5, 2007 I have two pairs, they're pretty much as good as any other skating sock out there.
Konig von Kuhlem 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2007 Well, I skated in these socks for the first time today and wow they were comfortable. At the end of skating my feet were dry as well.

davis 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2007 I'm a big fan of these Under Armour socks. They're pretty thin but work well in the skate as well as inside the shin pad (they go just below my knee.)

Doctor Hook 0 Report post Posted September 23, 2007 Forgot my OxySox and had to go with regular athletic socks tonight at pickup. A world of difference...for the worse.Once you go Oxy...you have a difficult decision on whether or not to go back.

slaw 1 Report post Posted September 23, 2007 That site does not give any proof as to why those socks are super awesome. Kind of stupid if you ask me. Just where something comfy and get wheels that fit?
A2rhino 63 Report post Posted September 23, 2007 I'm with Doc Hook. The Oxy's are a great fit comfort and functional sox. They last forever and stay consistant. They dont stretch out nor do they wear thin. I got the same 6pr deal on Ebay and cant imagine when I will ever where them all other than if I lose a pair somewhere. I only wished they go up higher than my mid shin.

A2rhino 63 Report post Posted September 23, 2007 Again,I agree with DH. I also use the Superfeet with my O/S and skates.
jbyun04 7 Report post Posted September 24, 2007 And I agree with A2 and DH.There's something about the Nike Dri-Fit socks that make my feet feel a little too kitten soft and I really didn't like that but the OxySox don't have that problem. I guess I should get another pair before they become completely unavailable.
