Vapor

Now this is crazy

My family has had season tickets for the rangers for about forty years since the new garden opened up in the late sixties. We have had 6 tickets in the second row behind the net. This year The Garden got rid of the goal judge, so this oepned up some space for more seats. They decided to make VIP seating. The seats are right in front of ours, but they are leather and a little more plush. They get two menus to order from, one which is exclusive to them which includes Louis XIII, champagne, vintage wines, etc. They also get some worthless gift bags with foam pucks and tee shirts, etc. Our seats cost about 180 bucks. Would anybody like to hazard a guess on how much these "VIP" tickets cost. First person to guess gets a cookie.

Apparently every rink is doing rid of the Goal Judge behind the glass.. I heard the Joe Louis judge in Detroit is up on the Concourse area? Any more Traditions that Bettman is going to do away with?

400 is about what a normal glass seat costs in a lot of buildings. I'll guess around $1095 per seat.

the seats in the first row are the same price as ours, about 180. The VIP tickets cost 1000 dollars per game. I was talking to the guy who bought all 4 of them for the season and he says he wanted regular club tickets, but they were all sold out so he figured he would rather start with these rather than any up higher. He pays 164,000 per season

How much is first row behind the Yankees dugout x 81 games? Its NYC, what else can we expect?

I used to get 3rd row behind the dugout at Yankees games in the early 90s. $25 ticket.

NOT ANYMORE.

Those prices seem off to me. We have rinkside club tickets and we only pay 180. We also oly pay 46 for our tickets in the 302s. Maybe this is for individual ticket sales?

You get a discount for being a season subscriber. individual game tickets cost more, and then ticketmaster tacks on their charge if you use them.

For that price, the champagne better be free.

The goal judge has been pretty much obsolete since they started to use replay to review goals.

What does/did he do for a living, Vapor? Did you stumble upon that?

He is the president of SureSource a turnkey direct to consumer business based out of Connecticut.

Do you think Uncle Jim would let that happen? It is not free, it is wayyyy over priced.
