Looks like Gomez found a stash of XN10's. VS just zoomed on him sitting on the bench with one in his hand.

..which was incredibly small on him, must have worked for something though cause he had a great pass to Backs for that goal

On another Rangers note... Dubinsky skating on what looks like a one95 boot and the ugly (IMHO) LS2 Power holders... I wonder why he swapped them out?

he's always used the one90/one95 with the LS2 holders (the clear blueish ones)

dubinsky has one of the cleanest looks in the show. i've never liked tongues out, but he pulls it off nicely.

LS2 and LS2P are different holders. Pnut106 was wondering why Dubinsky swapped the new white LS2 holders for the old LS2P (purplish) holders off the one90's. Both holders use the longer runner so there's no difference between the two. The LS2 comes with the LS2.1P runner, but also fits the standard length LS2 runner. My guess is he prefers the color.

iirc, the lexan ones are a stiffer holder. So, there is some difference in feel there. Cole and Whitney on the Hurricanes have had one95's with the lexan holders for quite some time.

ah. i didnt know there was two types of LS2 holders. is the difference little to none? like barely noticable?

the new NBH 4500 is a little different than the old Bauer 4000. The 4500 has different contours in the plastic, supposedly making it stronger than the 4000.

And eliminating the fracturing around the adjustment screws the helmet had been prone to.

Looks like Ovechkin ditched the 10.0 for the U+ today. Maybe he thinks it will break him out of his scoring slump haha

George Larque has some nice looking U+ CUSTOMS. From the view and light it looks as if they dont have all the graphics on the quarters.

Wow, and that helmet has only been out for what, 15 years? And they already got around to fixing that?!

I had that helmet for like 8 years, maybe longer? maybe shorter?, and a few months ago I tightened it for the first time and the plastic snapped. I got a concussion a few days later so it was time for a new helmet anyway.

Kimmo Timmonen of the Flyers switched back to TPS sticks. I'm assuming it's the R10, but after looking at the catalog, the new R8's have similar graphics. Timmonen's been using Warrior for at least the past two seasons. The fact he was using a TPS was one of the first things I noticed today in warmups, and I think it's awesome.

Strange he would switch in the middle of a playoff series. I'll be interested to see what he uses next game - stays with TPS or resumes Warrior.

He was trying them earlier in the season but switched back to Warrior not long after. Also had a brief stint with an SE, which I figured was Coburn's because it looked like it was 3 feet too long for him, and Coburn was hurt when Timonen was using them

it looked like a painted 10.0, or whatever he normally uses, because it didnt have the white heel, just a guess though, why would he change sticks mid way through a series anyway?
