Hah, that line doesn't make you sound like a tool or anything. People are just mad that the dog that came out of L.A. actually turned out to have some skill in NY.

He's always had skill. People forget he started in DET and was quite the grinder. However, he wouldn't dare pull that shit he does now with Yzerman and co. running the show.

I'm a lifelong NYR fan, but it disgusts me to see him in a Blueshirt. And that's why I just don't care about what they do - that, and Jimmy Dolan. Those NYR fans who talked shit about him in LA and now "love" him are hypocrites.

Not often you see a guy from the visiting team take a twirl when named one of the 3 stars.

Only time I ever saw it was NYR Gretzky in Florida, which was classy.

All I can attest to is what he did on the ice, which matched that only of Maltby/Draper style grinding.

I was a big Wings fan during his time there and I barely remember him. In fact, I don't even remember him being a regular in the lineup. My recollection is the lines were Yzerman-Shanny-Fedorov, Larionov-Robitaille-Holmstrom, Datsyuk-Devereaux-Hull, Draper-McCarty-Maltby. Obviously those lines weren't always 100%, but Bowman didn't change things around that much that year, especially in the playoffs. I don't remember much about 03, other than him being traded.

He and Daryl Bootland traded off as the typical call-up guys when needed, I believe. Never saw much dirty out of either, but you're right, they didn't do much else.

apparently 10 goals in the last 15 games, that could be why the NHL is highlighting Avery. Maybe it's because he completly changed the Rangers attitude since he came. And maybe you hate him because you wish you had him. Just an idea.

Yes, Yes I'm a homer, I support my favorite team and I think Avery only makes the Rangers better. Even when he was on the Kings I didn't understand why people hated him. He's not Chris simon or Chris Pronger he's mostly a clean player, who talks and gets people off their game, he's energetic and can score and play the game. Keep hating him, I'm 100% if he ever ends up on your team you'll love him.

Not to mention, does he make the Rangers better? The answer is yes. The Rangers are better with Sean Avery so why would any Ranger fan say anything bad about him? Everyone talks, I talk, I've began talking more since I started watching avery and you might not like it, but talking draws penalties. I've gotten some good barbs out. Two weeks ago, I bumped this asian kid and he crossed checked me in the back, I go "if you don't like contact go play ping pong" he goes CHRIS SIMON on me and swings his stick at me. (not in the head but in the arm) gets thrown out and gets a major. We score 3 and eventually win 4-3 because of him. Thats all avery does, it's not his fault people bug out and break the rules.

I've never outwardly bad-talked Avery on this forum, and B. if you had any sense of comprehension you would have understood that my previous comments had nothing to do with the character from the Simpsons.
