PuckSkins are awesome. They're loose, comfortable, not hot and are "anti-bacterial".

I love Puckskin shirts and used the pants when I reffed. I also wear WSI from time to time, usually when I forget to wash the puckskin stuff. I've ben using WSI jocks for years, never liked anything from the other manufacturers.

Itech Jock Plus long sleeve with the neck guard attached (if needed)

Jofa long sleeve (old... when the neck guard isnt needed)

I wear a Jock Plus compression short jock and UA socks. I'm going to buy a pair of UA pants to see what they're like because I've only heard good things about them.

Right now, I'm wearing Under Armour compression pants.... they're nice, and keep my shin pads, and knee brace in place. For a top, I wear Nike Dry Fit loose sleeveless. I feel "free-er" in the sleeveless shirt. I do have a Nike Dry-Fit tight longsleeve... but I need to shed some lbs. because it makes me feel like a sausage.

met the owner for this company a while ago and he hooked me up with wrist guards with this "evo shield" stuff. you wouldn't believe how much better these things are than the wrist band slash guards. also for all you guys who want rib and chest protection here ya go. just FYI these guys make protection stuff for some top athletes in other major sports. http://www.allsportsarmour.com/default.asp

Top (All long sleeve, I don't like short sleeve):

- Nike Dri-Fit Loose Fit

- Nike Dri-Fit Tight Fit

- Layer 8

Bottom:

- Under Armor Heat Gear Compression Shorts

As for wearing the long sleeve tops, I prefer how snug the tight fit is but even with the loose fit I don't really notice it while I'm on the ice. The Layer 8 shirt was just a last minute purchase of mine. It's an inexpensive moisture wicking material shirt I picked up at Winners for $13 because I wanted to wear a base layer but all of my Nike ones were in the wash. The shirts not bad for $13. I'm just as dry after the game but the cut of the shirt doesn't fit as nice as the Nikes. The only problem I have with Dri-Fits is if you try to take them off right after your shoulder pads it clings onto your skin and it's near impossible to take off. However when you do take the shirt off it feels so much better.

UA heat gear short sleeve.

UA heat gear boxer brief.

I feel it's night and day better than cotton.

I used to be able wring the sweat out of my old shirts.

I feel so much lighter & cooler.

I own a ton of undergear but the stuff I like the best is still the old Bauer stuff both tops and bottoms, not the greatest if you play down south or in a really warm rink, but during the winter I love the stuff and I feel that it absorbs most of the sweat as opposed to having it roll down into the gloves or skates and leaves the rest of the equipment drier.

I used to get a nasty rash wearing that stuff.

Have a couple champion type ss shirts but I invested in a Ls heatgear top this winter. Great stuff.

Rock the WSI shorts (garter&velcro). Great durability 3 years for the garter and 2 for the velcro. Had a pair of Itech that died after one washing.

Just ponied up for the new Mission skate socks. I have been using the oxysox for 3 years and they're getting ratty.

Top - UA Tech Long Sleeve (Hate the tight stuff up top)

Bottom - UA Heat Gear Long Boxer Jock (Not as thick as the compression shorts)

Socks - UA Knee-High Hockey Liner (Thin, but not too thin)

As for the slash guards, I love the old Jofa model that Ovechkin wears. The tight feeling of the wrist band-type bothers me for some reason.

PuckSkin top and bottom for MissD

no skin rashes, no (permanent) smell, good wicking.

Need new ones and can't locate PuckSkin anywhere, so I guess we're stuck trying to find a replacement. *sigh*

ShockDoctor has a set with the silver non-bacterial thread in it, don't they? Won't get anything without the silver threads.

Hey hockeymom a few places here in BC carry them. It isn't advertised on either site but I know The Hockey Shop www.thehockeyshop.com and Larry's www.myhockeystore.com carry PuckSkin...I have been thinking of getting a new set of longsleeves myself.

Top - Champion wicking sleeveless or short-sleeve

Bottom - Shock Doctor compression shorts

Socks - Merona (Target brand) think dress socks

Pretty happy with the Champion shirts and Merona socks, Shock Doctor cup pouches keep coming apart and the damn cup never fits right. I'd like the Nutty Buddy and some cheap compression shorts instead, but don't have $75 to blow.

Top- Some Target brand long sleeve athletic shirt

Bottom- Any PJ's i have lying around

Usually the PJ's don't get to bad, but I had to switch over from cotton tee's to a cheap athletic shirt (12 bucks or so) which does its job perfectly.
