well, I asked in another tread if the wings were having a pro equipment sale this year and someone replied saying that i missed the sale about a month ago. Thats why i was wondering if that pic was of that sale, sorry, my bad!

IF you had read my post, I said Michigan (as in the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor), not the Red Wings, who don't even have Michigan in their name anywhere.

for the record, the salming sticks that he uses are all great, being a euro brand, they are popular here, used the diablo, and the blue and silver one (not sure of the model) and the white and green one is a shaft in europe.. so i dunno what model he has...

Actually, the stick I had mentioned from the Vegas show was the NXT, because it was so unique with the curve in its kick point.

By the way, when I saw the picture of Sammy on his knees after his goal, the first thing I thought was, "Man, I gotta hurry up and get those things up on eBay so I can finally clear out my garage!"

I was pretty darn close to buying one of his for $75, game used, but it was a wholly unremarkable specimen. Covered in grip crap, beat to hell, etc.

I would still love to get one of his sticks, it would be a fine addition to the collection.
