One quick question how do I get my real name in the EASHL? right now I can't play in the EASHL but I do have a created team (I created it) but it shows my username and then under the real name spot it just go "-"

any one know why this is?

I'm having the same problem, but slightly different. Instead of showing nothing, it shows an incorrect name.

EA is not too much help either. :(

It is really starting to tick me off. I have tried everything I can think of. Whiskey did you call ea? I tried on their forum but there weren't any help at all.

Try going under the Community section under the Xbox live menu. From there, choose Online Team Play Community and hit Y to look for sessions. Your character should appear as whatever you named him.

I read about a similar problem to this earlier...some guy made a name that had "ball" in it....something like goof ball, anyways it's censored and didn't allow him to do anything. Then he did another name and it worked.

As far as the name being censored, how can you do that if it is actually someone's name? I understand that Goof Ball isn't a real name, but what if it was?

My last name is Slocum. I'm guessing that it might be censored. I tried playing online last night, in the online team play, and it made up another name for me. EA isn't responding to my emails.

I do. I generally use the mid curve for any stick as well since I hate shots that tail.

Also noticed something for the first time in my last game. I never whore myself to get a line change and let them happen when they do for the most part, but all of a sudden I couldn't "B" myself onto the ice. I thought maybe I got benched, but I had a B+ on positioning (honestly my lowest since playing) and A- on team play. Then for some reason I got put out on a PK, scored a SHG and never saw the ice for the rest of the period. Then I got into a fight (and got tuned) with a minute to play in the game. Christ I love this game.

I notice that as well sometimes, you can't call for a line change, dunno why that happens.

They need to tune down the posts a little bit, I swear I hit at least 2-3 every game. If I did that in real life I think I'd slit my wrists after about 3 games.

I also find there are just some games where you know 100% you are going to lose no matter what happens. Your D just refuses to take the puck off players down low, nothing you try goes in, every loose puck goes to the computer.

Last gripe about the game is what is with the team ratings? It seems like every sports game out there now is afraid to embarass fans so every team is rated within 10 points overall. I think the Leafs are like 83 overall? That's a joke, they should be about 35 if you are going to put Detroit in the 90's.

Anyone know of a way to make the custom songs louder in the game? I had them all at a high volume from Garage Band to iTunes to CD to the 360 but in-game they aren't too loud, even if you turn the arena music slider all the way up and move the others down.

You could turn music off in the game and just play stuff from the dahsboard. Did you try having everything at 1 tick and arena all the way up?

Whiskey, try adding a b to the end of your name just to try to get around it.

Yeah.....it's only really a problem when the crowd is cheering loudly but if I turn that down too much then it is too low. I'll mess around with it a little more.

Just got the game because it was only released yesterday in Australia. Haven't had much of a look at it yet but does anyone know if it is possible to have a pick up game of 6v6 online with just random people or do you have to be a part of a team to even access this feature?

I just got my 51st goal in 50-something games. What is kind of annoying is that I keep getting moved from the 1st to the 2nd line. Even when I play well and score a lot, I still get that message about lackluster stats. Kinda weird.
