Converting a grip lite

I am trying to convert my grip lite into an acrylic finish cause money is tight and I can't afford a UL. Has anyone ever tried this? I need to know what kind of arylic finish I can use to make it like a UL. I assume I can get it at a hradware store!

Yes but its really hard to get it off evenly.

Buy a couple cans of Krylon clear coat and spray it on.

before you ruin the stick id suggest selling it and paying the difference. ULs can be had for next to nothing nowadays.

if u have a while before u play again, try trading for an ul

Use a little sandpaper and it should take it right off..........

Just a follow up. I used an acrylic spray and it worked great now its just like a UL

out of curiosity, why did you need to convert them? isn't the grip an added bonus?

More than likely a S. Kariya pro return because there was a crapload that popped up last year.
