Jofa Elbows used by the pros

I know this question has been asked on here a few times, so don't get mad. I did do a search but I can't find the model number of the one's used by the pros. The ones with the forearm/wrist guard on them. Please someone point me in the right direction.

Jofa 5066 also have the slash guards. Also RBKs 8k which replaced the 9077.

Theres a few on Ebay right now.

I have no complaints out of them, they've performed as well as every other Jofa product Ive had.

Are the 5066's as good as the 9077's. I saw them on ebay, but I wasn't sure they were that good.

I have two pair of Jofa pro elbows. One is the 9177 =8k. The other is the 9144 Pro = 7k.

What is the diff between the 5044 and the 9144? I did learn that the diff between the PRO and none pro was where they are made. Sweeden and China. Any other differances?

I'll be putting a old style Jofa elbow pad up for sale soon (mens medium). Pretty sure they are a 9 series, but not 100% since they aren't marked. The elbow cup is separate from the both the forearm and bicep pads. Maybe JR or someone will be able to identify them when I post pics. They'll go up early next week.

What is the difference between those and my Jofa 9025's? Mine cannot be too good since I got them for $15 a couple months ago at my LHS's clearance sale..They're getting ridding of 9040 shins for $35..

9025s are fine - they're all great EP but all different - sorta like the Graf mentality - they fit different needs.

9040 is skimpy.

Thats probably why they're the most numerous Jofa shins seen around these days.. Yeah, I dont mind the 9025s but I wish I could find elbows that had straps that could fit comfortably around my biceps.. I'd prefer the velcro to be further down otherwise its too tight.. Whats a "bigger" fitting elbow pad?

Yeah, with a padded vinyl cover. Forearm is exposed hard plastic with non-elastic strap. Only marking are Jofa JDP Dual cap design.

They make larger sized Jofas -try a size 6 or 7

I skate with a guy that wears them. He loves them. I tryed them on and they fit nice. Hey for $35.00 and they fit you, why not.
