That looks so awkward. But someone is going to be in trouble. It still says "Johnson" in his player description.

The NFL site doesn't list him as Ocho Cinco either.

that was the XFL, they needed marketing like that. and i dont think he legally changed his last name did he?

edit: and to answer ur quote, (which im sure many of people have done already lol) sound is perceived, so no, it does not make a sound.

The NFL has no choice in the matter. He legally changed his name. He is a moron looking to extend his 15 minutes in any way he can.

Who cares. Does it affect you in any way, and how does it affect his team. I am sure he did it for the fifteen minutes, but get over guys! As JR said, just sit back and laugh!

I'm mad those aren't up on NFLshop.com yet (I checked yesterday too)... Not that I'm going to buy one, but I just can't get enough of this. I usually don't care about NFL receivers' antics, but this brings it to another level. If this man didn't earn more money than I'll ever see in my life, I'd mail him ten dollars just for the joy this has brought me.

Something about Johnson..er Ohco Cinco has legal financial obligations to the jersey suppliers of the NFL to take care of before he can wear his new jersey.

I know the NFL/Reebok won't let a player change numbers while on the same team...Ricky Williams wanted to change 34 when he got re-instated after his time in the CFL...they wouldn't let him...

Maybe this is the same thing.

I was wondering why "The Score" was referring to him as Chad Johnson, not Ocho.
