Not really a specific sighting per se, but I was wondering if anyone has the NHL stick usage statistics for this year so far. From watching a lot of games (gotta love Center Ice) it seems like Bauer has made serious inroads into Easton's dominance with the new one95. Personally I love the stick and it seems like a lot of pros do too. Thanks in advance.

As far as I know Kessel does use an intermediate stick.

he used to when he was on team usa, but i havent kept up with him since then and that was a few years ago.

A friend of mine worked for the Bruins and got a bunch of pro-stocks from them last year and Kessel's was an intermediate.

pics? i checked from last nights game at it was just a white 4500

looks like NBH helmet to me...

He definatly had it on in the first period, and switched it. It said Bauer pretty big across the top and was flashy hologram type paint...

it is a 10K, there are no white holes.

I saw on here earlier he was painting the white section of the stick black, but I cant tell if hes stilll doing that to 8.zero.8 [zero keys broken lol] or if hes using a [ten]K

yeh its a euro only helmet its basicly a jofa 690 but i think they changed the padding somehow its called the 5k

I like how when the 5k, or 690, was a Jofa helmet, everyone wanted to steer clear of it and it was a "terrible bucket", but slap Reebok on it, and everyone wants to know what it is and when its coming out...

not really a sighting, just curious. Now that Ovy is using NBH sticks, does he still curve them himself, or does NBH do it for him, because if im not mistaken, NBH blades are thicker then the ones on the catapult, so wouldnt heating them do even more damage?

im near positive ovies ccm were fused with a wood blade which is how he was able to curve them

I recall it being mentioned that he wanted to modify them himself... If you notice some are different then others and he marks them with his little drawings.

Watching the Chicago channel 7 news today and Patrick Kane was sporting the new Vapor 60 skates. They had a black heel cup similiar ribbing to the XXXX only they were a shiny silver with black and looked silimar to the pattern of the CCM U+ and they only said Bauer on the side. Pretty nice looking. Look for the Winter Classic debut for these.
