Just curious for those of you using edge socks- do you still tape your shins down from the outside?

yeah, I use 2 wraps just under the knee. they're retail, if that helps.

do they stick on the velcro on the shorts/pants? i don't tape my socks right now but attach them to the velcro on my cup/compression pants.

retail socks have velcro im not sure about pro stock. since retails are so big (for me at least) i velcro and tape above the knee so it stays under my hockey pants.

as for taping- said socks are gigantic on me, so i tape the knee then bottoms.

yeah, the little black tabs are soft velcro so they stick just like the traditional socks.

you usually know what you're doing ;), so may I ask why do you tape? Is it because shins or socks are loose?

I don't tape my socks, but they're very tight fitting (so as One90 shins)

(Pro) EDGE doesn't have velcro but the velcro on my shockdoctor jock creates enough friction that it holds the socks up if I tape on top of the velcro/sock.

Mine are pro stock and dont have velcro tabs. I'm going to sew some in.

I have a pro version and a retail version. That velcro tab is for the 9k pant - I think your best bet is to sew velcro on the inside where you would want them to be.

SolarWind - it's merely an aesthetic/superstitious thing for me. I always run one wind of tape along the tape channel under the knee, and one at my ankle below the pad.
