I'm surprised many of the other NHL teams sell used and new helmets at their equipment sales. The Canucks don't want to bother with the liability issues that may arise.

Thats weird, I bought a helmet at the Flames Equipment sale and they didn't make me sign waivers.

Although, I did recommend them making any buyers of helmets to sign a (for memorabilia use only) waiver when I was turned down for the helmet the first time.

Race, save your money- there may be an opportunity to get some soon. They mentioned at the sale they are bringing in a person to help them sell their excess gear, I think this was just to try and clear the pipeline a little. You'll probably hear about it here first.
