K9 Unit

If you were to order custom sticks

Recommended Posts

depth: 1/4" (slight curve through out--toe is only 1/4" forward of heel)

type: heel

face: open wedge

This is what I've had made for better part of the last decade.

3/4 Mid Toe, Closed face, Round toe, Medium length blade, 5 lie, 80 flex, Light grip.

3/4 is legal limit right? damn...how hard is it to backhand? just a curious question

I have no idea what the legal limit is. Backhands are not too difficult if you practice, if it's a true mid toe I have enough straight blade at the heel of the blade to get good backhands off.

Basically TBLfan described my perfect blade.

Depth - 3/4"

Curve - Toe

Face - Neutral

Toe - Round, with big rocker

Blade - Medium

Lie - 5

Flex - 70 Flex

Grip - Light stick'um grip

Hand - RH

Sounds like fun. I'll take a Warrior Dolomite with the following:

Depth - 1/2"

Curve - Toe

Face - Slightly Open

Toe - Round with a bit of rocker

Blade - Medium-Long

Lie - 5.5

Flex - 70 Flex (360)

Grip - Nipple Grip

Hand - Left

Basically it would be a Sakic with a toe instead of mid curve, less open, and a bit less curve. A bit more rocker at the toe for snap shots. I have a pro stock Brunette blade I'm looking forward to using that looks very close to that.

RH 6-6.5 lie Drury with an ever so slight touch on the toe. Stick would probably be Easton Synergy shaped, 80 flex with tactile of some kind, Z-tac or Mission VDS blade.

If anyone has any Rakhshani (sp?) pro blades, let me know I want more! Got my VDS pro Rakhshani (6+ lie Drury) in a whipped out SE 85 shaft yesterday, man that thing was on fire until the plug loosened up on me.

Toe - Top Square, Bottom Round

what difference does that make? i know heatley has that on his

I'd imagine you can shoot better off the toe but pull the puck off the boards and toe drag better with the square top.

Meh, why not.

I want basically a very small heel(like crosby pro) with a toe curve, similar to the Afanasenkov/Kovalchuk. Neutral blade face.

Lie of about 6.5, big rocker that gets bigger at the toe.

About 11" long blade.

85-95 flex, stick dependent. Higher kickpoint => higher flex. Flex to be accurate with the stick length being about 56-57" long.

Thats almost exactly describing the Samsonov prostock I picked up.

Mine:

Blade: straight heel, big open toe, neutral face

Lie of 5 - 5.5

Medium - Medium Long blade

80 Flex when cut down several inches

Mid - Mid low kickpoint

Well, not everyone shoots off the toe. Probably more useful for mid to toe curves than for heels.

I totally agree, those Rakhshani mission blades are things of beauty.

I would love some dolomites or one95's with:

depth:1/2"

curve: mid-toe

face: open

toe: round

rocker: big rocker

lie: 5.25

flex: 80 at 56"

soft grip

left handed

My dream curve is basically a sakic with a touch lower lie and bit more toe to it.

Bascially a lower lie, milder, longer Ribeiro.

So:

depth: 1/4"

curve: heel

face: slightly open

toe: square

rocker: mild with a little more at the toe

lie: 4.5

flex: 90 at 53"

grip: Mission soft grip

Hand: right

Tapered shaft similar to the Pulse, but with a paint job that actually sticks. Rounded corners.

Wood blade similar to the CCM 892 but with a kevlar wrap on the toe and bottom of the blade.

Oggie ergo grip in stiff flex with the production cover.

a 2-peice combo

tapered shaft in 90-95 flex with grip.

tapered blades with the unpolished finish, no logos

both pattern choices would be retail patterns except for the lie which would be 6.5

1. shanny pattern (easton) the toe would be rounded

2. neuindyke pattern (inno)

just love the toe curves.

hand: right

depth: slight 3/8" - 9mm

curve: mid-heel

face: slightly open

blade - x-stiff

length - long

toe: square

lie: 5

flex: no higher than 85 retail

Tacki-Mac 7" wrapped grip on handle (white)

No Skid 11930 textured epoxy spray coating for grip

white tape on blade

stick cut to 59.5" (handle to floor against wall)

basically a Forsberg with a stiffer blade and square toe as opposed to rounded

Mine is not too far fetched, yet still not possible to own.

Stick: Warrior Dolomite OPS

Curve: Elias Pro (Round Toe from HM)

Flex: Senior 75

Nipple ( :P) Grip

Non Spyne Blade

I actually had this as a two-peice combo, but broke the blade and the other blade i have doesn't fit in my shaft, and I prefer the OPS over the 2peice anyway
