I look like an idiot, please help

I've done this in the store dozens of times and nothing seems right? maybe because nothing is EXACTLY the same? or am I just crazy?

Possibly the equivalent in RBK too if anyone knows.. I'd like to try some other sticks but nothing that I can find is exact

Not similar at all. P88 is pretty closed, if only the slightest bit open. Sakic curve's face pretty much just turns over 30 degrees about halfway out. Easton's Heatley or Iginla will be your best bets.

+1, Lindros to Sakic and you'll be hitting glass all night.

Just going on what I've seen, as these are the only two sticks I use and I bought the Stealth because I held it right up against the One70 and they were the closest I could get. The Sakic is slightly more open but not nearly as dramatic as you're making it out to be.

I have both as well and the P88 is nowhere near the Sakic.

The Sakic is slightly more open but not nearly as dramatic as you're making it out to be.

The looks may not be dramatic but they play very different. My P88 in a Vapor XVI stick has a lower lie ( or lower functional lie due to rockered bottom) and is less open/ Pantherfan is right. If you play a P88 and grab a Sakic you will be hitting the glass all night.

I've seen some pretty open sakics, I used to use them all the time and I couldn't imagine using one anymore. The Iginla might be a little easier of a transition than the heatley due to the lie

Don't mean to get off topic but since the Heatley and the Iginla were mentioned, I'm wondering if the two are similar. I love the Iginla but don't like that the blade is smaller/shorter. If the Heatley is similar to the Iginla but has a longer blade, then I'd like to try it. The Iggy blade, when I had it, was the last time I could get the backhand up from in close. I've been using the Drury and have an awful backhand. I know the Forsberg is good for the backhand but I'm looking for that perfect combo that has some curve and still is good for the backhand. I'm sure it has something to do with my technique but a little help from the blade never hurt.

The Heatley is a little longer and closer to neutral rather then completely closed IIRC. I really wish they'd make it in a blade form...

RBK Datsuk p38 Is your best bet for sure. p38 is lie 6 like p88. Both mid curve. Main difference is p88 rounded toe, p38 rounded square toe. Iginla looks close but not right lie and its shorter. No lie 6 in easton!!!

Really I have a p38 and a P88 and the feel very different. The face is the main difference to me, and I have trouble lifting the puck with the lindros sometimes and I have trouble keeping it down with the p38. I have used the Iginla and the Lindros and they feel very similar but they are definatly not clones.
