chippa13 1844 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 The economy continues to be in the toilet, the Dems struggle to get back AIG bonus money that they refused to block in the first place, not one thing has been done about Iraq and Afghanistan, and what does Congress feel is a priority today, a college football playoff system. Allsmokenopancake 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 I know right, it's been two months already, and everything isn't fixed. What the hell is going on. If only they were as efficient at fixing stuff as we've become accustomed to in the past 8 years. That would fix everything
hockeyplaya97 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 I think we just need a big reset button. Press that bitch and everything will be back to normal

mack 44 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 I'm doing great. Stocks bought on the cheap are rolling right up. As for the change, I'm surprised that in roughly two months' time they haven't fixed the 8 years of buttfuckery the last president put the nation thru. Shame, really. chippa13 1844 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 So you folks approve of wasting time that should be spent on real issues on solving why Barack's favorite college team didn't play for the title? That's all I'm sayin'.

Anyone seen Will Ferrell's "You're welcome America: A Final Night with George W. Bush" on HBO?"Ya, somethings sucked, but did we get steroids out of baseball? You bet your ass we did. Well, we kinda did."

chippa13 1844 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 I'd just like to see the boys rolling up their shirtsleeves and getting something real done, well, other than just throwing good money after bad.

That's all I'm sayin'.So, to use the logic you are using here, a person is capable of only focusing on one thing at a time. How do you manage to breath while typing all those pretty words?Congress have always taken non issues and "worked" on themIt's their playtime to show how well they can mispronounce athlete and team names
chippa13 1844 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 To use my logic, there are a lot bigger problems on the nation's slate than who takes the NCAA football championship.

DavidT 11 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 Im all for taking any and all current politicians and lobbyist groups in the state and Federal levels and putting them into camps to be used as slave labor. All US foreign aid ceased both monetarily and militarily. And almost all forms of interior government aid ceased. Then we restart this place back into a republic where we should be, instead of this evolving form of current BS. Jason Harris 31 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 Do we need Congress working on this? Probably not, although I understand why people would want to challenge what is essentially an oligopoly. Teams that go to bowl games earn big money, and the argument is the BCS is essentially picking who gets to receive that money. That's why the issue is bipartisan.Regarding the economy, the Bush Administration had eight years to usher in the worst economy in nearly eighty years. Yet, according to comments I've seen on the Net, the same idiots who twice voted for Bush either truly believe 66 days should be enough to solve this morass or are just popping off to pop off. Chadd 916 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 No problem, any school that doesn't agree to participate in a division 1 football championship does not get any federal funds. Next problem

Jason Harris 31 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 Sure, but considering Congress becomes involved with virtually every piece of policy, from energy to health to education to economy to whatever, are they really stepping outside of their boundaries? If so, who's to blame, considering it's apparently a bipartisan issue?
bdj 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 Is it just me or are all the "Support the President" type from Bush the ones that are completely against Obama? I see on other forums most of the hardcore Bush supporters that always preached the support your president stuff are bitching and moaning about Obama not doing anything. Maybe I just don't understand American politics well enough.
Chadd 916 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 Is it just me or are all the "Support the President" type from Bush the ones that are completely against Obama? And all of the people that bitched about Bush are making excuses for Obama. I would prefer to see a government that was more fiscally responsible.
chippa13 1844 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 I think that happens with every regime change. The folks with the old are unhappy about getting crapped on during the current election and the new don't want to admit that who they ushered in cannot, in fact, walk on water. It tends to be more polarized after a two-term president.
