Bauer Vapor X60 LE

Just browsing through the Bauer Holiday online pre order catalog form and noticed they are offering a X60 LE. Our rep hasnt been by yet to show us the new X60 stick and other holiday offerings so just wondering if any of you guys have seen the LE skate yet. Im thinking its just a dressed up X60, different colors etc, kind of like what Rbk did with the white 9K pump. I know theres already enough hype about the X60 skate nevermind a LE version of it.

Will the shaft/blade combo be tapered or standard?

X 60 is out as of wedneday accross Canada, I am looking forward to Thursday when I will be on the ice with a pair with several of my staff members in a PK session.

X 60 Le will be a color change just like RBK did with 9K pumps or Graf with the G5 Le last season. the skate will be offered in ltd quantity late October, great for X/mas gifts.

Sportsworld USA will be having a day this spring at the Eden Prairie Community Center (by the HS) where you can demo out the new X60 skates and sticks..along with the Bauer Supreme equipment.

From all the marketing, it looks like Bauer is now free of Nike. Is that true?

No, I meant skate. I don't know anything about it at all...but there is a Bauer 5000 skate for holiday booking in their online catalog.

Only a X:60 LE...a little more expensive than the X:60. The LE should be priced around the One95 skate.

Thanks. I had read about it, but I thought there was going to be some spillover time while old stock with the Nike/Bauer branding was liquidated. Seems like the pure Bauer marketing is going full speed ahead. Welcome back, classic Bauer!

The 5000 skate was IMHO a good looking skate but it was probably one of the most uncomfortable boots that I have ever worn... LOL I still have them in my basement... If they do come back out with them I hope they do some mods to improve the fit and comfort but leave the classic look...

I could see it being a mid+ range skate dressed up like a classic 5000. Which would be pretty awesome in its own respects.
