Magazine ad (CCM)

In one of my classes at school, we had to chose a company, I chose CCM and we had to make three ads with photoshop, indesign, and illustrater: A brochure, poster/billboard and a magazine ad. I have finished the brochure and poster but I don't have any inspiration for the magazine ad. Help me out guys.

You could get a CHL team winning the memorial cup, since they are sponsored by CCM. Could go along the lines of passion, or what it takes to win, or ccm is there to help win....ect

The U+ CL is ripe for a concept ad- working towards how light it is. Cant let it get cheesy though. No stick on a balance scale against feathers or crap like that.

What about taking a still from the movie carrie, with the hand coming up from the grave, put a CCM glove on it, and "coming april 2009" or some such teaser, then your logo/logotype etc

Pop Culture, product and add a good byline, and you are good to go.

Back in college one of our projects was coming up with a campaign for a new beer, Chieftan beer (design/communications graduate). At the time, there was a big carlsberg campaign "Probably the best lager in the world"

So I made my slogan "There's no probably about it"

Scored high.

Similar to when Wrangler went for the Levi's 501 brand with their "be more than just a number"

For magazine ads you have to to do more than your poster (which is fine by the way, posters are seen in passing, so the skate and short tagline work very well), but a magazine should be smart, snappy and memorable

Get a picture of someone in ccm gear getting laid out with a big hit. Then have it switch to that same player with a smile and fists in the air after a goal. Advertise the new protective line from ccm and how it kept

Skates pants shins still on so it's easy to see it'S just after a game and then u jus get a slogan about it's what

Hopefully your teacher doesn't deduct points for spelling, or for having other people do your work for you. You got an assignment so you can hone your skills, learn to do it yourself bro.

Hopefully your teacher doesn't deduct points for spelling, or for having other people do your work for you. You got an assignment so you can hone your skills, learn to do it yourself bro.

Sweet, I get burned for making a spelling mistake in my second language. As far as the project goes, I don't see anything wrong with what I'm doing, I'm just asking for ideas, I still have to put out alot of time to create the ad and make the project. Thanks for the useless post.

Not a good choice to use a team that didn't come close to the playoffs this season. Using the Cup in advertising only works when you've got the defending champs.
