He didn't focus on Legends because it's a waste of a feature aside from HUT(Take a hint from NBA 2K11). I assume he probably didn't use any of them because aside from JR they all have to be unlocked and reviewers are on a tight timeline. Winter (Heritage isn't in the game) Classic is just a play now game with snow is it not?

I think he meant horrible as in they didn't review many features or go in depth. I can't say I agree either way I just think it was a waste to watch. The game really didn't change too much and I don't expect one of these guys at GT or GS to give me a convincing review since I will buy it regardless.

I know what he meant, just saying it was pointless comment. Reviews are an opinion, and until you have played the game being reviewed as well than you have no issue calling a review bad.

Got the game and played a few games, I really like the smoother and more realistic physics engine. Also had to outfit Ovi with bauer gear, haha...

One thing boggles my mind though. Why no Franchise gloves, EA?

I know it's in NHL 08 which makes no sense. They remove things just to re-add them later.

I'm betting Bauer would rather showcase their $100 and $120 helmets than the $60 one. Especially when you consider the R&D money invested in the 7500 and 9900 is long since paid for on the 4500. Simple marketing.

There's a link to the EA site for all the Be a GM mode tweaks too. That's all i really play (besides online vs), and i'm even more giddy now.

As soon as I saw that, I wasn't to happy as my franchises are coming in next week. Sadly I can't wear all my gear. Overall other than that a huge improvement over 11.

From what I've heard, there's NO improvements to Create-a-Team this year, which is really dissapointing to me. Not even 1 new logo? Or 1 new jersey template? LAME.

I've had it for a week now. A local retailer seems to shelve it early every year.

This game is a disappointment again this year.

Physics are improved and you can't just lay anyone out. Traffic in front of the net is a great new feature too.

Winter Classic is a gimmick, EA you're three years late to that party.

Create-A-Team/Player untouched. When are we going to be able to custom color equipment like 2K allowed? Also, why do they remove equipment every year and model the equipment after retail items.

Jets have Black/White practice jerseys. Kings, Leafs have locked alternates. Nashville uniforms look good in game.
