Graf Ultra R-80

Hey guys!

Has anyone tried or seen these graf's? I think they look unique :) I've found them on the net recently. Full name of these Graf Ultra R-80 retro. Looks like this is ultra F-60 in red with slightly modified spoiler. Any other opinions?

GrafPro55 has said before that these are in finland-only model, so you might struggle to find anyone on here thats tried them. Im sure he'd have some more info if you ask him nicely :)

Uggh! IMHO very ugly cosmetically but the skates themselves are alright. Really couldn't see me wearing those on the ice.

may i ask wtfffff is they hype around graf skates ? never tried em, try not to look at them. Dont like that look and the look like crap with a diamond sized price tag, whatssuppp with that ?

Usually the yellow laces. (Somehow these ones don't have them though. Puzzles mee big time)

Grafs are far from crap. The graf 700 series was one of the best made and designed skate models on the market. Sure there plain and black (except these awful European skates) but once you've owned a pair you would understand. Sure there not flashy with neon colors and fancy names, but i would much rather pay $400-500 for a top of the line graf over another pair of skates in that price range. There much better then my 9k pumps. You may not like grafs but its undeniable that not only is there quality there they perform awesome and fit even better. If one pair of grafs dont fit you it doesnt mean anything, they have enough foot shapes to fit everyone pretty much. Example - 709's are a top of the line graf, real wide similar to the g9's i have, then the 703's are narrow, 705's are mid. The range is endless. You may not appreciated the fact that there all black and plain but when your buying your own skates im sure you will understand how great grafs really are. Im not sure how much they are where you live but here in Canada there actually a bit cheaper then comparable models for the most part usually $40-50 less.

I totally agree with your opinion. Could anyone name other skate manufacturer, which has separate skate models for the foot shape?

I skate in Graf. Love them. 703s.... used to skate in Bauers back before they were purchased by Microsoft

The new model or the older ones? I have g9's and my outsole came off originally but they sent me another pair after the fixed it, very best since. I still wear them for odr ect, do they look like these?

No, I have the new model but nice tongues on those skates. I was going to replace the new tongues for the older ones but they were comfy so I thought if it ain't broke why fix ?

Quick question for graf pro.. Why did I end up with an European model when I ordered through my lhs ? Do u guys occasionally give out euro models?
