This camera guy loved me(He took more pictures of me than all my other teamates combined). I got a penalty (he was shooting from the box) and I was like wow you took alot of pictures of me and hes like I love watching speedy fowards that work there ass of.:)I played one of my best tourneys.

What does it change if his shinpads are small. If they are protective enough, it's perfect, they'll give him more mobility then if he have an armor.

In the last picture it looks like there is a pretty good sized gap between the bottom of his pad and the top of his boot. With his tongues down like that...it looks like there is nothing preventing a clean shot right at his shins.

Maybe it's just the way the picture looks.
