Actually later in the season I had situational sticks, but not in those pics. The Stealth was my main stick. It broke, then while i was waiting for us to get more in stock I used the SL.

Later on in the season i used an SL for my powerplay stick. I cut it about 2 inches shorter because i was either back door, or in front for diflections/ rebounds.

Flyguy- what league do you play in? The crowd reminds me of our crowds, so highschool, or your equivelant out east?

Yeah that is my highschool league. I would much rather play all high school games because we draw such large crowds then my jungle b team does. Even though the juniors is a much more highly skilled and competitive style of play, high school is a lot more fun.

By the way is that your high school team? Because I had a friend who played on my junior team two years ago who i believe lived in burnsville and played for apple valley or something I think.

Fly- Whats his name? Cuz I play for (and those pictures are of) Apple Valley. Minnesota is a lot different than other parts of the US, even. Here HS hockey is basically above all (unless someone leaves to play in the USHL.)

Jake- Were actually a dark brown, vegas gold, and white. Those unis are a couple years old now, but I like em, There pretty sharp. Ill see if I can find some in our away J's.

Flyguy...I thought prep schools were highly respected in hockey..up here in Northern NJ it is as far as prep school goes. I love playing HS games too...i love playing in front of a crowd.

When did Apple Valley get away from the sweet brown and yellow color combo? I was always hoping that Fargo South and Apple Valley would play a game against each other so the brown breezers could play each other.

EP Stud- Yep its us. Yes that 96 team was simply amazing. I believe Karl is playing for Jokerit this year?

We ditched the lighter brown and yellow gold a few years ago. We get a ton of shit for the colors, but I kinda like the brown. The vegas gold is a lot better tho. Ill get some pictures up of our newer browns tonight.

Edit- Heres a few in the whole brown package. Now that I think about it, besides Fargo Ive never seen a team with brown breezers. Sometimes refered to the "shit suits" by confrence rivals. Sorry for the bad quality, I had to scan them on.

Well i cant really say i REMEMBER them cuz i was only a few years old. But yes, seeing highlights and those players after they played HS gives me a good idea as to how good they were. Amazing tradition in the powder blue.

It was the residence charity game between Risley Hall and Howe Hall. We (Howe) won 6-1. Was a great game. Tons of open ice hits, and you couldn't hear yourself think from the noise of the fans.

Yep, the Jeffersn Youth progam has produced some great players as of late. Too bad the USNDT/Holy Angels/Juniors has been bleeding the Jeffersn progam as of late, othewise Peter Mueller and Erik Johnson would have suited up for the Jags too..Both are products of the Jefferson Youth Progam.

I might go back and play a drop in game at the Bloomington Ice Garden for old time's sake. It has been awhile, but since I now live in Shakopee and there is a new rink close by, I havent needed to play at the BIG. I always loved the Ice Garden and Braemar. Do you get your gear at Westwood in AV??
