Yea there's no such thing as a s17 shaft, it's purely for easton advertising. Last year he was still using rbk blades but he switched to warrior this year. He also has a warrior ak27 he uses at practice

Anyone notice Marleau's stick? He was using an s15 last year, this year it looked like he was using an s17 with a blade fused in... Couldn't make out the writing on the blade, Sherwood maybe? I'll look for a picture. Also the 7 in s17 looked almost burned. It was strange!

then it's most likely an S15 with S17 graphics. No company makes a replacement blade for a S17 shaft and if he's going to stick with a shaft why switch from what has worked?

14th pic - S15 shaft with a Warrior blade.

thanks for the fast reply guys. I noticed later it did say warrior. Can anyone comment on the discoloration? Also is there gonna be a new top of the line stealth series shaft? I saw a s19, s13, and s9 at my LHS today. Also the st courtesy of Mr. Green.

Edit: for marleau's second goal tonight he was using an s15. Guess he does switch back and forth!

Equipment managers don't normally touch the sticks from what I understand. They go on a rack in the stick room and players do what they will with them.

So many guys have superstitions and such with their sticks, individual habits and such, and the equipment managers have lots of other stuff to do. Not enough time and the players would revolt if they did anyway.

The Harvard hockey team is wearing the new cascade helmet in preseason. The helmet looks alot better with a cage on but I dont know if they will stick with it throughout the season.

If they're the same ones he was wearing for the Russia camp they look more like something (vapor 10s?) that has been dressed up to look like vapor 40s.

I dont think so, Jurcina has white on his X60, the non grips have no white expect for the Bauer logo. Its hard to tell from that angle, but they might both be using the same stick.
