i doubt 1 game was enough to make up his mind - so it's not that surprising - i guess the real question will be if he ends up choosing the dasc skates or the totalones

I don't think Staal has even worn the MLX skates. I believe its just been Malkin, Gonchar, Fedotenko, and Talbot. Oh and Dustin Byfuglien

Blues.png

Reading Uni Watch and he posted a picture of something I've never seen before, but had been told about them and finally see a picture. Anyway for a while the Blues wore blue hockey skates. Kind of cool

Just noticed Kessel with an s19... when did he stop using bauer?

He's been using it for the last for a few weeks. Started using it to try to bust out of his slump, seems like it's worked so far...

If you like those google California golden seals and check out the skates they used to wear.

I like the St. Louis picture because it shows the old art of hypnotizing the defenders while carrying the puck.

The league has banned that tactic in the last CBA in an effort to open up the game but you still see the odd men's league player trying to use that, harking back to the good old days of old time hockey.

Ya gotta love the Finnish snowboarder last night who lifts up his board and shows the Burton logo across the bottom and is pointing at the logo as if to say "thanks to my guys at Burton!"

Skiers and snowboarders do that every time they finish.

Thats why they take off their skis/boards when they're waiting for the score or whtever.

Notice where the manufacturer logo is on jumping skis, they're laid out so that when you hold the skis upright

alongside you, it comes somewhat near the face (hence, it will appear on the TV camera)

My point was for all of the small logos you see in hockey (courtesy of the IOC), the logo sizes in snowboard certainly aren't restricted. Furthermore, the snowboard guys are huge in promoting the brands they support and make no bones about it.

Even the snowboarders are restricted. Normally to top of the boards are littered with sponsor stickers.

Chara is wearing total ones! I saw bauer and the gold heel cup when they zoomed in on the coin toss.

Canada's Hayley Wickenheiser had them as well.

No clue if it's possible, but I'm a little surprised there isn't some sublimated custom skate graphics.

That would be cool if teams were able to sublimate color schemes into their skates much like the old St. Louis Blues picture that was posted yesterday.
