Vector U+ or Vapor XXXX stick

I found both of these for $125 out the door. Never had chance to try either. Recommendations based on use/knowledge? I play 1x week as a winger.

Not having used either, the U+ feels like it'd be easier to break, although the weight and flex were amazing.

I guess to each his own - I didn't like XXXX one bit (bunch of mixed reviews here as well) - felt dead so I sold it after one game

I love the U+, I like it much better than the S17 and Dolomite.

Vector U+ reigns supreme in this discussion, no joke intended. The U+ feels very reakable but to its advantages it can in my expeirence kick alot better and has better puck feel. The XXXX just felt awkward, blade felt huge, and the stick flex just didnt work. Its all prefence, and in my opinion the U+ is a shooters stick.

Go with the 40, its proven to be a good stick. The u+ had so many problems with breaking that they had to replace it. Thats why its so cheap. On the other hand the xxxx is a great stick.

Thats true, i just didnt like it, i think topics like this asking about which are better seem somewhat stupid, theres no way that anyone could tell you which stick is best for you. you need to try them out feel things out and eventually get your own opinion. not saying buy both but feel the sticks out i know a guy who will use an easton octane with a cheap blade over a 200+ dollar stick because he likes it. Its all personal preference.

True, but I think hes better off with a decent stick over a stick that will break almost instantly. Dont get me wrong I love the feel of the first generation u+'s almost as my se's however because of the blade durability i woudlnt recommend them to anyone. Some people on my team say why do u keep buying se's if they break so easy. My answer? Personal preference. Absolutely loved the cnt stealths but mine are all broke except one which the blade is almost unusably soft and is demoted to pond hockey at best once i get the blade fixed with some epoxy or something. I tried a vapor xxxx on ice and didnt mind it at all though im sure at that price you cant go wrong with it.

I've got both and I didn't particularly like the XXXX. The U+ has held up quite well and the shots are wicked. Balance is probably one of the best I've ever used. I'd recommend the U+ over the XXXX any day.

the xxxxs blade feels a little dead, but is a durable stick

Ive heard the u+s actually do have nice feel, but that they break easily

as you can tell ive never had a u+ but the xxxx is pretty nice

The XXXX was one of the most blade heavy, no kick, no feel, non responsive sticks I've ever had the misfortune of using. A tree branch would have been more effective.

In my experience, the Vapor XXXX has had durability problems of its own. My godson went through 3 of them in a month before switching to a different stick.

I for one love my Vapor 40. The flex is a bit stiffer than i would like but the feel is great for me, the blade and shaft are very responsive and my shots are very accurate with it. I have had it for a while and the only damage is has it cosmetic. It's taken some solid hacks and has survived it all.

My vote is for the Vector U+. The Vapor XXXX, despite being a high-end composite OPS from a great company, feels surprisingly dead, even when simply holding it.

I am so anxious to try the XXXX..... The P106 pattern is the one I want, mind you the P91A looks close to the Drury pattern I want as well. I am intrigued by the low kick point this stick supposedly has. I have a Synergy Elite 2 pc set up now, and the heel of the blade chipped in my first ice time with it. It is still usable (like new), but this makes me suspicious of the durability. I see they are on for good deals right now, assuming because the X60 sticks are on their way. As mentioned in an earlier post, I think the blade on the XXXX seems long though....

I might do some shopping and grab a couple items with the stick, might grab an INT for my wife too.
