Michigan does not wear Warrior..do they? I thought Michigan was an Addidas/Reebok/CCM school..All their current pics show their players in CCM gloves

Those were issued to the club team according to the Hockey Equipment Forum on Facebook lolol.

I'm not sure they were "issued" to the club team, but I've watched them play and only about 12 of them had them so I am guessing they just did a custom order with the guys who wanted them.

Not sure how that works. Wisconsin has been an Adidas school for more than 5 years (one of their biggest) and except for the sweater, breezers and socks, most everything else is Bauer. I don't understand why Reebok/CCM does not outfit the rest.

Because it is for the CLUB team not the VARSITY team which equals no Adidas endorsement!!

Missed a chance to pickup one of Michigan's dark hockey sweaters when I was in North Detroit last July. Still kicking myself in the butt for that boondoggle. Awesome sweaters. Picked up some nice Nascar momentos though. Love taking in the races at Baltimore Michigan.

No, I'm referring to the Wisconsin Varsity team - their gloves, helmets, sticks, and skates are 99% Bauer even though Wisconsin has been sponsored by Adidas for over 5 years. Trust me, I am a season ticket holder and know what the varsity team wears. I understand the Michigan one, just confused by Wisconsin not using Reebok or CCM helmets, skates, gloves, and sticks.

Those gloves (Listed by epstud and in the reply field at bottom) are navy and sport gold. Michigan Wolverine colors are navy and yellow. Here are some examples of navy and yellow. Note that people often incorrectly use "yellow" for "sport gold" or vice versa. Make sure you look to see if it is in fact yellow or the "sport gold" (more orange) color. These examples are only available in 13" though:

Teams can have separate apparel and equipment deals. The school itself is sponsored by Adidas so all jerseys and socks are made by them. To your casual college student fan, that's the only brand they'll recognize so Adidas gets their exposure right there. Equipment on the other hand, is more wide open depending on how good a deal the school can negotiate with the equipment manufacturer and to a lesser extent, what the kids want to use.

has to do with how the contract is written up. the ohl like the ahl is sponsored by rbk/ccm so the players have to wear certian pieces of rbk/ccm gear. but with sticks(ohl not sure about the ahl) skates they can choose what they want.

AHL players cannot use anything other than CCM/RBK sticks, though each team gets a couple exceptions.

Your first link does not show anything in UM colors..The 2nd one shows Navy and Gold but no Blue/Yellow

Michigan's Yellow is actually "maize" and maize can be darker than the yellow on their helmets. Their gloves usually have a darker color stripe..
