Bauer rep visited today

I don't have pictures right now, but our rep came in today with the new xxx stuff today. Expected to be in stores in by the end of the year.

Gloves = Unbelievable!!!!! All they are is a nylon xx but made for retail. The palm was entirely clarino, no stretch fit material. All ill say about these is that i am now extremely pissed i bought cp94s.

Stick = true 1 piece, deep navy blue with red writing, 430 grams. Felt nice, very well balanced albeit still not in the stealth/xn10 range in terms of weight. Bauer will now offer the 77 in a senior shaft also.

Skates = very impressive, feels lighter than the xx, yet much stronger. I couldn't see any difference with the new lightspeed, but the liner is the same as the 8090, new outsole is well done, and there are a lot less parts that can fall off like there was on the xx.

ah DAMMIT! if it's 169$ it's like 349 here in canada. The only thing i can look forward to is that i beleive bauer ships over the border unlike easton so i can get one online hopefully.

BTW so are we sure it's a one peice cuz at first it was said the stealth was one.

why you guys are all in love with nylon??well in my opinions..it doesnt make a lot since the most important is maybe the palm but I DON'T WHANT TO START A FIGHT lolll i'm just wondering...

about the stick....do bauer still have their soft grip on??

by the way...i thought you(cavs) was from Canada...my bad!!well thanks for the info i was really looking forward to the xxx line...!!

Wow, you were speaking pretty highly of your CP94's too. Are the XXX's actually that much better? What did you like about them?

umm bauer cant be shipped over the borders since bauer canada and bauer usa are both different. its actually a mandate because I know at our shop we cant ship bauer products over the border

I was told that the XXX gloves will come with an extra set of palms.

There is also a Vapor VI stick that is the same as the V but with grip. I think they call it Stickum.

The only thing not mentioned on the skate is that the footbed is new and very, very thin.
