used the granite because it was only £12.99 at the local supermarket, its nice and flat, hardwearing and doesnt corrode, used one before on the mk1 and its held up well over 2 years, its nice and smooth with a couple of strips of hockey tape under the boot holder, tried felt but found it too squashy

put some cover plates on it, looks a lot smarter and runs much smoother than the mk1 probably due to buying a better quality grinder to start with

It is not kind of chainsaw or grinder engine,High precision motor 0.75hp.Motor driving wheels, if the grinder production will be difficult, easy fibrillation
