Looks like he started the game with his normal CL's and switched to the other previous model.

He did. In the first period he WIPED out twice big time. Either something was wrong with his steel or something was wrong with the holder/outsole.

As far as the flop, it is more difficult to do with the U+ tongue. His 2009s are traditional thick felt...perfect for the flop. He should pop those felt tongues on his CLs...he has to do something to change his luck!

Ovi's 08 gloves also have tne extra flap on the cuff now above the wrist for protection unlike the original 08's. Also the gloves I seen him wearing tonight did not have the inside wrist flap cut off like he normally does.

Those are Vapor 10's due to the silver around the eyelets and tendon guard.

Charles

Yep...Vapor 10s...used to love those skates. The curious part is that they have the OLD Bauer logo before the Nike acquisition...so I suspect they haven't been made recently...unless Bauer still has some of that original material.

Also love the pic of Arnott's old Easton Z-Air gloves. Him and Iginla...they are obsessed. Saw a pair of Iggy's Z-Airs at Winterfest last year. The inside of the cuff is insane...unbelievable flex for wrist movement. The material is so stringy that the slightest flex opens the cuff, and immediately goes back into place once the hand is straightened. Sick.

Same with Richards. His all black ones are sexy as hell.

CBC also mentioned that Iginla switched to a more "straight" curve that he apparently has not used in nearly 10 years... I have seen pro-stocks/returns of his that have had some toe-curves, but always though he used a mild Sakic-ish style pattern in the past...

He normally uses something very similar to the Drury/YP, but last year switched to something closer to an aggressive-looking Sakic-type curve. What's the new one?

No, you mean you saw my custom Z-Airs...

Not sure. The Drury/YP you are mentioning was likely something like the "mild-Sakic" I described...

They did not have a very good angle of it, but the new one actually looked like a Darby curve with a fair amount of rocker... Still searching for decent pics (and in the process have fallen in love with the Flames retro gloves!).

What company actually makes the shell for fleurys mask? It doesn't look like the normal bauer/itech.

Itech 961SE. Called the ''stars and stripes'' in the goalie community. Very rare shell. Used 961SEs can go over $1000 without paint.

Penguins Winter Classic masks. Kind of seems like someone told Fleury they were wearing a different jersey.

The bottom of the mask is dark blue, not black. It's also a tribute to Michel Dion. French goalie who played for the Pens who also wore #29.

See the blue pearl?

No he had used a pretty straight curve until aboiut last year when he switched to more of a toe curve because he said it made him shoot more. not sure if he switched back to his old curve

Must be Brent Johnson's mask.

It is.

Watchin the Pens-Yotes game and they showed a quick shot of Kunitz in the box and the "S19" branding on his twig is missing. Doesn't seem to be sprayed since the curved line of the graphics continues to the heel of the blade. I'll try to find a picture on Getty later.
