So many to pick from, and I don't know where to begin. Figured i would ask the board! I am looking for a mid curve, not too deep, with a very slightly open face.

What I am experienced with:

The coffey curve is too deep and no open face

The p88 is nice, but face is closed

The pm9 is not deep enough and it's a mid heel curve, but like the slightly open face

I guess what I am looking for is a p88 mid curve, with a very slightly open face.... or maybe just a slightly deeper curve pm9 Prefer a 5ish lie. Standard hossel. Any ideas?

or the P106 gagne, I know its stated as a heel curve, but I find it more mid than heel.

It's also more than slightly open, but he's most likely going to have to compromise on something.

I think you'd like a Recchi/Tavares. The lie is a bit higher than you asked for, about 5.25 but it's close to what you want.

Montreal Euro. I think they made some lie 5's, at one point but I think they're generally 6. I don't think they'll be easy to find, though.

Highly recommend finding a Montreal M95 blade. Get the Euro pattern, that's a good mid curve, slightly open, and they have them in 5 lie. Super light weight and durable too.
