2011 Warrior DD Stick Problem

Has anybody else had this problem with their Warrior Dolos?? I have gone through 4 of these sticks so far - each stick has had the same problem with the blade falling apart at the heel. The three dolo's that I have used have all gone to crap after 2 weeks! Is this just a bad batch or what? I've never had this problem before.

The pro ones (in my experience and friends) are notorious for breaking down in the heel or in the middle like this.

I have had two prostocks and one retail do this. My AK27 blade has had no problem so far. I fing that warrior blades chip and crack really easy.

I have chips and dings around the heel but I don't think any of them cracked open like that. I use the vanek with a 4 lie.

You could always replace the blade on the dolos if you break the blade.

This same thing happened to my pro stock dolo, I loved the stick wont buy another though since the blade is a pos.

welp, i just got mine and used it for the first time yesterday... noticed some normal ware in the same spot... hope it doesnt crack like that. this worries me...

Anyways, you guys should tape your blades better. I tape all the way from the very toe like half way up the shaft, I don't want anything to happen to my babies! :P

Don't you think that's a little short sighted? You do realize the pro sticks are made entirely different than the retail stuff? I ask genuinely, not rhetorically.

As for this thread, I am guessing maybe bad batch? I've had tremendous success with Warrior sticks durability (and performance) over the last couple of years, both pro and retail. I think in all, I've only had to send one stick back to Warrior for warranty, and it was a Mac Daddy that cracked on a fluke blocked shot.

i'll be the first to say that I have poor technique, but my snap shot is pretty good for my league and I'm not overly hard on sticks.

My technique is fine - I have used dolomites since they came out and have never had this happen to me before this early.

@halfmoonyote - I'm thinking that this was a bad batch as well. Throughout all the dolomite models it seems that the 2011 model was constructed differently or something.. Ive already gone through 4 since November.

I dont have perfect technique, but this has not happens on any of my bauer or easton sticks. I tape my entire blade and it still happened, I really like the dolo except for the blade durability.
