They're TotalOnes. They have the TO backroll and if you look closer, they do have the 3-piece index fingers.

Yes, now that I take a closer look at the second picture I can see the 3-piece index finger and I looked up pictures of the TotalOnes and it does look like the backroll is the same. So I think you're right and they're TotalOnes with different palms - grey palms instead of the retail Nubuck.

there was actually an article (cant remember where i saw it) a few days ago about how combat paid the NHL fee for their name to be displayed on their sticks, and didn't for the gloves, so that's why it is blacked out.

Both teams have those in their jerseys for tonights game. There was a special faceoff between Ovi and Malkin and there is a patch on the jersey in addition to those patches inside the jersey to authenticate them as the ones worn in tonights game which will then be auctioned off to benefit the families of the players that died.

Don't know if this is considered a sighting, but I just saw Alex Edler break 3 RS's in one game; could be a repaint. Defective batch? Never seen a guy go through that many sticks in one game.

Could it possible be some sensors to determine heart rate and possible vibrations that occur while playing to monitor his progress? I do recall that when his heart rate got past 90% capacity he had some “symptoms.”

That's interesting to see. I haven't seen anyone in Eagle gloves yet this season, even the guys that have worn them in seasons past. As an aside, Eagle gloves were everywhere in the Yotes equipment room this preseason, but no one decided to wear them.

EDIT: Not to get too OT, I used to be a pretty big Eagle supporter/consumer. Wouldn't wear anything but Eagle gloves. But I just don't see enough differentiation in their fit and performance anymore to justify where they are priced. Even on the 'custom' level. That is not a knock, just a matter-of-fact assessment.
