I thought PSU's club team already had a deal with Bauer since the NBH days due to the fact that they are a Nike school. The PSU club team's jerseys are Nike.

They have an "all sport" deal with Nike if I remember correctly.

I'm a little confused with this whole nike thing. Why are there Nike pants all over college hockey when Nike got out of hockey a while ago? Since there are Bauer logos all over the gloves, helmets and sticks, why don't they just put the Bauer logo on the pants?

Because pants and socks are part of the uniform, just like in international hockey.

PSU club team has had a nike deal for years due to the PSU all sports nike contract as Chadd mentioned. Players are still responsbile for paying for skates though at a discounted rate and not all players get unlimited sticks. One thing that their team has/had that is really unique is the nittany lion on the kidney pad of the pants. I had never and still have never seen anything like it reproduced for another team.

During game 3 he was using Miken sticks. had 3 of them on the rack in warmups. One of them looked slightly different though.

Looked at some pictures of Booth on Getty Images and the only letters on the stick look like "Miken ZL". Possibly the next generation of the Razor line to replace the Z9.

warrior composites are just like any other composite sticks, obviously the blade issue will always be a problem, think of the amount of abuse sticks take along the boards. But about the new warrior stick, i thought boedkers stick said "coyotes" not covert, hah that wouldve been awesome!
