If you watch any of the games and/or Oil Change from last season he wore it last year too.

Glad to see Easton is heading in the right direction at least. I've just been so skeptical of Easton gloves ever since I bought a pair of S9s and only 7 weeks later had to buy new gloves. Durability was terrible.

Now a "new" sighting, but something I found really interesting. Hall in Warrior girdle:

Just wonder what Hall's Easton contract really includes because I remember it was rumoured to be a head-to-toe deal at first, but clearly not.

Saw this picture:

EDIT: The only noticable difference I see is a "2620-12" instead of a "2620-11" on the OVECHKIN stick, and the lack of "APX" on it.

Neither say P08. I wonder what he is using for different curves. I always see him with APX in pics and warm ups, but when he scores he seems to be using the Total One.

TotalOne vs APX constructions maybe? Both have the custom flex profile (G3)

What does the "G3" custom flex equate to ? I've always heard Ovi uses some insanely whippy flex like a 65.

The G3 refers to the custom construction and flex profile of the stick itself. I'm not to sure what makes a G3 a G3, all I know is that it's pretty popular with the pros and will be coming to the retail market soon with Bauer's new Nexus line. There's a separate thread on that. Also, the 82 in the picture is the flex.

noticed the Lokomotiv sticker on the back of his helmet. is he the only Pen wearing that or is the whole team doing it?

Steve Sullivan is also wearing a Wade Belak Memorial Sticker on the back of his helmet as well.

Whats up with holmstroms backrolls on his bauers? no vents or plastic middle piece? I dont think they are rebrands, just unique backrolls...?

I think Bauer does that for pros or SMU orders for shops. There are black ones that come up from shops time to time on ebay that are solid black with black graphics screened on the rolls. I think another pro had just solid black ones w/out vents or graphics too, but I forget who.

Noticed last night about half of the Sabres had the old RBK Vector logo on their jerseys and the other half the new "Reebok" logo on the back of the jerseys.

Pretty sure Patty Marleau was in Warrior Luxes tonight -- first time in years I've seen him in anything but Reeboks.

He was, and then he had the Reeboks on in the third. I would love to get a pair of those Luxes in Sharks colors.

Maybe the Skate Fenders prevent it?

These things are catching on REALLY fast, I'm seeing the clear polycarbonate ones (that Gardiner is wearing) absolutely all over the NHL this year.
