Reebok Hockey is a very small portion of Reebok in total. Also Reebok doesn't compete very well internationally with Nike...adidas probably feels if they remove a player from the game they are better positioned to compete head to head with Nike. Just my thoughts.

Oh, I see... so the plan is to kill everything Reebok, not just the hockey. wow. that'd be a big move.

That'd be too bad really. Although they don't fit me and consequently I didn't buy them, I've always liked the graphics on reebok skates.

I had a 10k stick which I liked (both performance and looks) and now that the price of the 11k (also good looking) is coming down to earth, one of those my find its way into my hands.

Anyway, end of tangent. Back to your regularly scheduled new gear sightings.

I was ready to say Widow, but something is off.

Don't know whats going on with those 3 letters down on the bottom of the shaft. The stick has a Dagger Taper.

Maybe something new?

Stewart and Langenbrunner both have them as well, it looks like it says "Covert" on the shaft.

You appear to be right.

Warrior has had a lot of problems with there composites... be very skeptical with future warrior purchases...

Would you please elaborate on this, as I have been away from the game awhile and am looking at all new gear. I've never used a warrior, do they have durability issues?

The blades on Warriors sticks are notorious for breaking/splitting. Although, if you read enough on here, every brand/stick line has something that seems to be a common downfall with them. Some things just work for some people and some don't.

I've heard the same. I had a friend who had his customized Warrior Widow blade start to crack. He contacted warrior and they took care of him by sending out another widow. Not sure if it was his custom, probably not.

These kind of stories, along with being based in MI, make me a Warrior fan.

By the time the stick does come out, it will be close to 2 years.

That was the problem I had with Warrior sticks. I loved my original Dolomite to death, but that was the only downfall to it. Split right down the bottom of the blade.
