Need light weight shoulder pads

Recommended Posts

Looking at the reebok 9k kinetic fit don't really see much difference between them and the 11k just the price ^.^

Anyway anyone recommend some good hockey shoulders for a winger?

Brand/Price isn't an issue.

Thanks in advance

Find some Pro Defenders.

well - make sure you try them on first since they fit large (and kind of weird due to fairly wide front/back panels) plus while providing good shoulder/colar bone protection they are fairly short & leave large portion of adbomen exposed.

and they aren't that light in my opinion - I tried them for some time but ended up selling them.

IMO, a very underrated shoulderpad that very few people ever talk about is the Graf G700.

I don't typically wear shoulder pads, but I recently bought a set of these and I can't say enough positive about them. I've been digging them to the point that I plan on writing a proper review.

Super lightweight, super low profile, ultra protective, and completely bulletproof. The feel/fit is outstanding. Again, consider this from a guy who can't stand any shoulder pads. In the past, any shoulder pad I've ever worn I've cut the caps off and removed the bicep guards. When I'm wearing the G700, I don't notice either. That's really saying something. Excellent price too.

If you really want to go bananas, Graf makes a model higher called the GS that is even more of all the same qualities that make the G700 so functional.

Your review may have persuaded me so I can keep my Down low shoulders. They are very reasonable in price if you shop around. Not to go O/T but have you used any of the other G700 Equipment? You can send a PM if you want.
