It's funny how this year's coaches personas resemble last year's winter classic setup. I absolutely loved last year's coaching confrontation and I don't expect anything less this year. I'm looking forward to see Tortorella's locker-room speeches and based on press conferences I saw I think It going to be even more entertaining than BB's comments. Also wonder how long it will take before the first F-bomb is dropped. :popcorn:

Edit: Shame Richards and Carter aren't in philly for this.

during the rangers and philly game, they said that the irst episode of 2/7 was going to be tomorrow, or tuesday the 29th

No offense meant but doesn't Canada have the Heritage Classic? Maybe the NHL Winter Classic is laying off Canadian teams for that reason.

looks good but they gotta let montreal/toronto play once. why not a doubleheader?

Ottawa/Toronto would be better I think... The Battle of Ontario! No need to have the Canadiens play in three Heritage games

Not done every year. Not to mention the winter classic will always consist of at least one american team. Marketing wise, it's meant to promote the game in the states. The Heritage Classics are generally only during "special" occasions I believe (might be wrong though).

When they announced it, they said it would be annual, but later in the season.

Bernie Parent and Hexy are in! But Hexy is just gonna be an Ambassador because of an injury. Damn, would've been great to see Hexy in net again. The crowd is gonna go nuts when Bernie steps on the ice!

Yeah, I want to see just about the whole Rangers Alumni in action. Turcotte, Messier, Gartner, Leetch..... the list goes on...

It's gonna be cool to see Recchi in orange and black again as well!

I can't say enough about how amazing of an experience the alumni game was today. Seeing all the guys that got me into the sport of hockey (LeClair, Lindros, Recchi, Desjardins etc), it brought me back to when I was 7-8 years old watching the Legion of Doom on TV and falling in love with the sport. The ovations the crowd gave Bernie were unreal. Truly an awesome experience.
